Blue Sapphire Sencha

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! May I present to you my latest creation, Sencha by Colette Patterns in blue (to match my shoes). I used a gorgeous blue wool jersey, that I picked up at B&J's in NYC. Version 2 with the neckline tucks suited this fabric best.

The best part of this blouse is the buttons in the back. I had them custom made, by Pat's custom buttons and belts in Lodi, Ca. This is the second time I have used Pat's and I am officially obsessed. They add such a professional touch to any project, and it doesn't cost anymore than buying buttons elsewhere. I have 3 more projects that I'm planning using custom buttons, and even a belt!

  1. I love it! This is one of the nicest Senchas I've seen. The color is great on you too!

  2. Lovely Sencha! I just got my hands on a copy of the pattern after drooling over it for what seemed like forever.

Those buttons are fabulous - I might have to try something similar when I (eventually) make my own Sencha.

    Happy Valentine's day :)

  5. Absolutely lovely, Erika! It fits you beautifully. This has to be, hands down, my favorite Sencha to-date. Gorgeous!

Also, can we talk about those shoes? They are to-die-for. Of course, you needed a blouse to match them!

  6. Hi Erika! I obviously (duh!) love your Sencha, as I mentioned earlier. I just wanted to also let you know that I've passed the Liebster blog award on to you! Details on my blog. (I hope you haven't already won it without my knowledge!)
